I notice that the regional news is currently listed to be aired after the lunchtime rather than Evening news next Saturday. There is no obvious reason for this as the evening news is listed as 15 minutes a duration that is frequently used for the combined duration of the national and regional on a Saturday and furthermore there is nothing that couldn't be moved by 5-10 minutes at any point on Saturday evening.

Given there is tennis, Glastonbury and the Women's World Cup on Saturday afternoon, all of which could wildly overrun and the latter of which may have featured England when the schedules were finalised, it seems pretty sensible to move it out of the way of all that to me.

Just a thought does Beyond 100 Days, temporarily become 100 Days when the new PM is appointed?

I thought the '100 Days' referred to Trump becoming US President.

You are correct, the programme was initially launched to cover his first 100 days in office

Might be an off topic, but may I suggest a new title, like Across the Atlantic , World News America Plus , etc.?

Agreed. I think just Atlantic would work - World News seems to have one word titles usually.

Did anyone just see News Nationwide?

Roger Johnson just showed the BBC Breakfast sofa is now threadbare and falling apart.

Yes, I happened to see it. I must say I spotted it straight away at the start of the report. It’s not unusual for TV furniture to be totally shagged out on closer examination

For no apparent reason, today's Newsroom Live at 11am started with just the generic titles, sans trundle cam, which are normally reserved for when the main presenter is on location.
