Is there a faulty fluorescent tube in the newsroom? Keep seeing something flickering in the background.

Either that or the newsroom staff are having a silent disco to celebrate up to another 6 months worth of Brexit reporting ahead.

Following on from the EPG problems, a few weeks ago I noticed the BBC One simulcast changed from "BBC News" to "Join BBC News"

There were EPG problems, but I think it was due to the BBC taking over EPG compilation from Red Bee, and the change being not quite <cough> seamless ?

And a Sportsday logo in Reith on screen behind him and in the old font on the lower thirds. The sooner they bring in Reith everywhere the better.

Sportsday isn’t in Reith behind Olly. It’s in reith on the titles but the screens behind are in Gotham from before BBC Sport introduced reith

I'm not keen on the mix of styles, personally, and having an obvious typo ("Office of National Statistics") in something they've clearly spent time over makes it look like they've focused on style over content.

I agree and it seemed a bit pointless on its own. It was the only graphic in the piece and literally just repeated verbatim what the reporter was saying.
