I thought it was the second coming of Christa Ackroyd at first.

This BBC World angle really is terrible at a time like this when more than the usual 5 people might be watching the news channel on a Wednesday night. The UK’s PM is going to talk about the UK’s future etc etc.

Totally agree, hate this international look at our domestic affairs on our BBC News Channel

Outside Source getting criticism on Twitter, as of course it is an alien format to most BBC News viewers.

Some making a comparison to the touch screen sections of This Time with Alan Partridge Laughing

Whilst I'm not keen on the screen tapping I do enjoy the fast pace of Outside Source, the guests just interviewed offered more insight than you would get from the usual hours of political talking heads

When did they replace the blown stripline bulbs in the newsroom (the ones you can see on the newsroom camera pan)?

Last time they replaced them they had to put up scaffolding.

The scaffolding job was for a big replacement job of near enough all the fixtures, not just a couple of lamps.

Outside Source is the worst of the BBC World News shows, they could have picked Impact, GMT, Global, but no they give us this on screen gimmicks show instead.

I actually like outside source Embarassed , it gives the viewer more background and detail than many of the normal news hours.
