Those watching Breakfast on the NC are probably those in places that have a TV tuned to the NC all day.

Let's be honest...it's likely to be TV Forum members only.

Do they still have a signed section of Breakfast on BBC News?

No studio B is the big one where Victoria Derbyshire & Newsnight come from THEY are in D home to BBC London, with the back up for BBC News & BBC World

Don’t understand why they insist on having a picture of the newsroom on the screens as a backdrop. It just looks wrong.

When Dateline London is on surely it would make sense to use a London backdrop? When London is already in the title a backdrop couldn't possibly make it any more London centric.

It was a typo on my part but all the same, no need to be quite so rude and sarcastic in your reply.

I didn’t think it came across as rude and sarcastic at all.

Of all the technical difficulties I've seen, those were the first to give me a headache (or at least make it worse). The AR graphics for The Papers appeared and animated as usual, expect for everything showing up like TV static. The lower thirds also failed to appear for the first 5 minutes into the programme.

That looks like proper random RGB noise.

In motion it doesn't move with the animation. Presumably it's some buffer somewhere which has been randomly filled by some system (I wouldn't expect some pure random noise to happen by accident) - probably so as to be obviously wrong and also to avoid showing anything that might not ought to be shown.

Some digital video processors and devices often display a signal that cannot read properly as that sort of random noise image. Either that or a uniform green or magenta picture that respectively ( over simplifying !) represent all zeros or all 1s. I don’t think the noise was in anyway deliberately applied, the whole ting looks to me like some sort of fault

I wonder what the relaunched Victoria Derbyshire will look like on Monday? Reith and all.

I’ve had a sneak-peek, and oh dear is all I can say. I’ve seen better mock-ups on the forum...
