It's common for Norman to be on VD from BH, then 30 mins later do a live from either Millbank or College Green on Newsroom Live.
HC
Or out of BH, down Portland Place, right onto Oxford Street, into West One shopping centre, downstairs to Bond St tube, two stops on the Jubilee line to Westminster and a short stroll across College Green.
If that took any longer than 20 mins I'd be surprised.

It's supposed to be 70 2 x576 for PAL and 70 4 x480 for NTSC. But 702 isn't divisible by 16, which makes it inconvenient/illegal for MPEG2 and other codecs, so it ends up being 704x576.
I thought it was 704x576 rather then 702x576 which is what vlc shows for some SD channels on Sky.

A real flurry of activity for the political staff as I had the TV on in the background from about 11:15 to 13:30 today:
- John Pienaar with Theresa May for her speech in Birmingham,
- Norman Smith was at the Cabinet Office (not sure why?), then on to the Leadsom base in Westminster,
- Vicky Young at the Leadsom office ahead of Norman, then back at Millbank doing interviews and two-ways on news channel (and filed a Theresa May profile report for the One o’clock news)
- Adam Fleming at Houses of Parliament for comment from the 1922 committee chairman, and two-ways with the news channel,
- Laura Kuenssberg was also outside parliament asking questions but not on-screen as such (presumably speaking to sources and trying to pull everything together),
- Ian Watson was at the Angela Eagle Labour leadership launch and did two-ways for news channel,
- Ben Wright filing the first report on the day's developments for the One o’clock news on developments.
Of course, The Daily Politics was airing as well so presumably Adam Fleming (and maybe others) were feeding into it as things developed too.
Sounds like a fast-moving logistical nightmare!

I know this will sound like a silly question, but why are the graphics on the screen reflected in the floor yet the presenter isn't (although some might say it's a good thing there's only one Simon McCoy

I guess they've rendered a 10% brightness contrast with fade shade and flipped it upside down to appear on the floor.
Easy to do with a screen image, difficult to do with a human.
