Put the news channel on this morning to find Reeta Chakrabarti presenting a strange feature based off the BBC News app, which appeared awkward and jarring. There was also a preview for Victoria Derbyshire, which was coming from a random, noisy cash and carry in Birmingham.

I just wanted the news...

There was more of the Derbyshire debate from a Cash and Carry after 11am as well. The NC really didn't find their rolling news format until 1130.

Yes 1 hour was more than enough for that debate this morning

Derbyshire from a cash and carry - the production team is taking the proverbial. Can this programme get any more pointless and annoying?

Highlight was her telling us there were 18 metre high stacks of baked beans lol did find the setting odd, was it closed for the programme?

Would love to been a fly on the wall in the meeting in Frankie Howard where they decided to present from a cash and carry.

Why were they coming from a Cash and Carry in Derbyshire, another debate on Brexit?

Far reaching here - the impacts of food imports? The warehouse they were in seems like it caters exclusively to food.

After looking up what a cash and carry is I looked it up. Seemed like it was bulk food supplies and restaurant gear. Are they generally open to the public. We don’t really have Cash and Carries in the US, but rather membership whole sale clubs which carry a bit of everything but a limited selection and bulk.

It was in Birmingham, not Derbyshire Wink

So while there's lots to be talking about re. Brexit and Sky are leading on this. The VD show had a discussion around Brazilian Butt Lifts. You couldn't make it up.

I think Catrin Nye's 'lovely film' about the Biohackers was as long as their Brexit segment this morning? The 'butt lift' segment wasn't that long along with the homeless interview.
