I have to agree. Normally the show flows well. Although the situation is going so quickly (another minister has just resigned (10.21 AM) that is hard keeping up.

Victoria Derbyshire programme a mess, serious news to report and you have a bunch of 'intelligent' viewers arguing the toss, very gobby woman leading the pack - ferile the lot of em.

Now the audience is having a go at the Justice Secretary. Who's in charge here?

An absolute joke. Come on BBC, you can do better than this.

The problem is the untrained audience are coming up with better questions than Victoria has been managing...

From what's being posted on here, it really does sound like today's show shows the Victoria Derbyshire really is not fit for purpose if it can't handle news on a day like today.
That said for anything to happen it'll require someone at the BBC/in BBC News to swallow their pride which I can't see happening. Newswatch should be fun mind!

Editorially the VD show should have been cancelled today.

It was there - well it rendered - but the camera kind of forgot where the hoop was!!! Thankfully we didn’t see it all teeny tiny in the corner! It’s fixed now!

The 2pm Afternoon Live TOTH was messed up with Simon's mic faded down and the music continuing to play out of the titles. They seemed to miss a staging shot too.

I see Robert Peston's moved back to the BBC!!! Well, not quite, but was front and centre in the live shot of Downing Street while looking for his seat!
