Something i've just noticed on Digiguide-it seems There is a new News at 9 (at 9:00am) bulletin from November 5th down on the BBC News Channel schedules with Victoria Derbyshire being reduced to an hour from 10:00am.

Seems an odd decision if true. Why not just have Victoria at 9am and then start Newsroom Live at 10am?
Or is it a sign that the Victoria Derbyshire program is somehow (and finally) falling out of favor and might be gone in the next round of cuts as there has to be a reason for it going down to just an hour.
Anyhow if true nice to see another hour of rolling news gained back and that's on top of us getting the 2nd edition of the Papers back to weekdays (and rid of the Newsnight repeat thank heavens) at the start of The World Cup so that's an hour and 3/4 gained back since then in terms of rolling news

Studio B doesn't need staffed for that extra hour. There would be a pointless gap in between Derbyshire and GMT. Of course they could then bring the 11:00am edition from B, but the first hour is still from C anyway.
