And they have taken out the shots of Clive Myrie and Jessica Crighton that were there (unless the Clive shot reappears elsewhere if the filler gets played again later this evening)
The countdown at 5pm was kinda badly edited, since it shows Clive Myrie at the 5 second marker, then abruptly changes to the shot outside BBC HQ, despite the background music being clearly designed for the overhead camera shot of the "lines" (to represent the news feeds) going into HQ at that point. Hopefully they will improve the editing of that sequence in time, as well as include more presenters/journalists.
Unfortunately it was a numeral-free countdown on the NC before the Six, and also included some unintentional talkback between Ben Rich and the gallery: "See you later" . . . "OK"
I'll try to catch the new countdown at the 7pm TOTH for our WN members.
Slightly off topic for the moment, but during
Newswatch,
they suddenly switched to what looked like a live feed from Studio E, of someone having their picture taken sat at the desk. It was on screen for about 3 seconds, complete with sound.

Very strange. Slightly off topic, but an old friend of mine had her photo taken with Lukwesa Burak when she visited NBH a couple of years back. Clearly she's one of those people who likes to have her photo taken!
It's common for friends and family of employees to visit to get their photo taken in the studios and not just at BH.
I'm aware that friends/family have tours and pictures taken at BH and other places, just unusual for the event to suddenly appear as part of the live NC output.
So the TOTH countdown for 10pm happened just now, didn't catch the start (which I think was at the 45 seconds mark), only thing that changed was the two scenes from 30-21 seconds were switched round, and a replacement shot of Christian from Singapore was shown as the last one in the sequence. I'm guessing a number of replacement shots for existing presenters, plus the 4 new ones, will be mixed around the countdown sequence.
