Casual viewers won't notice a thing.

I think that's our motto, isn't it? What's that in Latin?

I vote this to be the official TV Forum tagline.

Yes it did. It showed Impact instead of The One.

I don't want to come across as a miseryguts but in the last few weeks, the BBC News Channel has had the following hard-hitting items:

-Sooty and Sweep interview
-Basil Brush interview
-Simon McCoy playing tennis against Peter Levy

And to top it off when the news first broke of the Brexit Secretary resigning, a huge domestic story you'd expect to get the full breaking news treatment, BBC decided to stick with the World simulcast of the Thailand cave rescue.

I accept news channels can and should have lighter items from time to time bur can't help feeling the channel has lost its way a bit.

Afternoon Live (which name is a blatant rip off from Sky’s show just years previous) is just another BBC News slot to dumb down.

SIlly season usually starts once Parliament is in recess and everything goes quiet politically. We're not there yet and I'm not sure we will be, the way this year is going.

Although thanks to the World Cup, Silly season seems to have started a few weeks early this year.

A 'time code free' countdown into the Six tonight on the NC, as it started slightly late, but with an introduction from Sophie Raworth at the stadium in Moscow, and a very nice sweeping shot of the stadium replacing 'Trundle Cam' at the end of the title sequence . . .
