Intriguingly, the News Channel schedule for tomorrow (or later today really) shows what looks like a short edition of Click at 12:30 and then BBC News from 12:45 to 1.30pm. There is Trooping the Colour which is being televised today so I wonder whether part of it will be due to that - we shall find out whether news presentation from 12:45 comes to pass no doubt later.

It sounds as through The News Channel will be simulcasting the end of the Tropping the Colour ceremony which is due to happen at about 1:00pm.
Despite Simon McCoy being in Westminster for Afternoon Live, the business segments still came from the desk with Rachel Horne sitting in the anchor's chair.
The 13.45 biz bulletin was from the catwalk as per usual.

Was that the same today, with Annita being at Westminster? Was she on after the One O'Clock News from 1.30pm-2pm or did she only come on during Afternoon Live? Did the Biz Bulletin air as usual at 1.45 today as well or did Norman or someone continue with on-location interviewing following the drama at Westminster?

Biz from the catwalk at 1.45 and biz from the desk with Simon and Rachel, who incidentally also did the 11.45 buleltin on Newsroom Live as well.

The one at 1.45 today with handover from/to Jane Hill presumably?

The usual World News studio must be unavailable as World News is coming from Studio E. On the News Channel earlier, Julian Worricker continued until nearly midnight and Newsnight was not broadcast for some reason that, if it existed, I didn't pay any attention to at the time.

The dropping of the newsnight repeat is too allow a reasonable length BBC papers following a delayed news at 10 and will be in place most days during the next few weeks while the world cup effects the timings of the BBC One bulletins.
Yeah, if the news is on at 10:15 instead of 10:00, then either the Papers or Sportsday would end up pre-empted. So they have to be shown in the 11 hour instead, thus pre-empting the Newsnight repeat.
