Wait until some really radical change occurs such as the intensity of rain being denoted as red.

I liked it when Ben Rich pointed down the ticker and DOG disappeared as if it was on cue. Very Happy

Surprised it took them this long to put in something so simple and basic as a lightning bolt for lightning! Pretty sure there's been lightning in the country (or even in their "Weather Around the World" segment at 9.30pm each weekday evening) since the graphics got updated.

Looks like World joined the News Channel for the event in Manchester this evening - the music finished at 9pm though and so for whatever reason we had Shaun Ley in Studio E do a spot of in-vision continuity, introducing Outside Source 'from the BBC in London'!

I do like Shaun Ley but I do find him a little OTT and cringey at times. I swear I saw him practically skipping to the catwalk when he was on the other day.

I wish BBC News Channel would use more presenters, Sophie Long appears once in a blue moon for example.

If anything they should be using less presenters. They have far too many for so few shifts, which is why things are so inconsistent!

Is Sophie Long still around? Haven't seen her on screen since her brief stint in Seoul finished in January.

I’ve seen Sophie pop up as a news correspondent a few times. On Sunday she was outside St Pancras station for BBC News at Ten.
