Looks like the other half of The Newsroom (i.e the works in the newsroom that were started at Easter Weekend) is getting done this weekend as the late shift has decamped to Studio A following The Ten this Evening-Looks like D will be being pressed into service again this Bank Holiday Weekend.

I notice one of the new bulbs has already blown on the side which was already done.

I think it was dead the day after the scaffolding came down.

<pedentry>bulbs grow, lamps glow, and they've replaced them with LED units which have neither anyway!</pedentry>

Unlikely if you're replacing the fixtures. It's more likely to be an early casualty of the bathtub curve.

It may be D actually as the monitor looks as if it's the same position as when BBC London use the studio.

For complete pedantry, if they are retrofit, they are lamps; if it's a complete unit, it's a luminaire.

These errors seem to be occurring more frequently than I thought we were seeing with the software used under the Met Office contract and that towards the end was getting bad.
