Technical hiccups on Afternoon Live 2PM opening just now... After the countdown finishes, the intro failed to play, leading to a brief black screen. After that, a filler was played for about 30 seconds, until the intro plays again with Simon Mccoy sitting behind the desk.

Was anyone able to cap it?

It wasn't that interesting. Imagine the countdown freezing on its last frame, then black for a few seconds, then the filler that just consists if the countdown without the clock. Simon appeared and started as normal without acknowledging the issue.

Ah, that's OK. I've just managed to find it myself on the BBC iPlayer and to be honest, like you said, it's nothing interesting.

Huh, the World countdown sequence ended and then had the extra two seconds showing the piazza and doors to NBH. Something that only happens during simulcasts.

A miscommunication perhaps World thought they were continuing to simulcast.
