How do you receive bbc telegu then, is it on satellite?
Aren’t a lot of the WS language programs carried on existing local cable or satellite as a program or online?
I think that’s Studio K, one of the latest studios to open at NBH. Used mainly for WS language services, of which Telugu is an example.

I think a lot of the World Service Language TV services are not 'channels' but instead produce a relatively small amount of output each day that is then made available online and also provided to third party channels for broadcast.

Must say, Vicki Young is a good presenter.

It was used for a recorded segment on tonight's Outside Source, albeit with a mini Victoria Derbyshire-style high desk/podium.

That studio is getting some mixed use. Click used it for an episode or two a while back.

I never thought I'd see the day where the BBC News Press Team would tweet about Pocket Size Mark Ryes:
Seemingly, an old video uploaded to YouTube as a dramatic recreation has been shared on WhatsApp without context. At a guess, he's been paid on Fiverr to do this video.
This video clip claiming to be a #BBC news report about NATO and Russia has been circulating widely, particularly on WhatsApp. We'd like to make absolutely clear that it's a #fake and does not come from the BBC. #fakenews pic.twitter.com/91lVuTlcBC

They have now posted an article explaining the situation - it was originally made as part of a psychometric test.

Something weird going on with Newsnight on the News Channel (and presumably on the BBC2 showing earlier). Emily Maitlis is interviewing Anthony "The Mooch" Scaramucci in a studio in New York. On the wide shot of the two of them, no problems. On the close up of Mooch, he's about half a second out of sync.
They were also late getting his mic up as he decided to interrupt Maitlis's introduction of him to "correct" one of the adjectives she used to describe his 11 days in the White House - telling her it was "meaningful" rather than "memorable." She got her own back by reiterating it during the interview

Ah - I thought she was interviewing James Comey - maybe she's interviewing more than one US player whilst she's out there.
Sounds to me like they sent the two cameras back separately via different, un-matched, paths and thus they arrived out of sync. Sound came pre-mixed via one path and so is in-sync with one camera and not with the other. Always a dangerous game to play unless you plan your circuits properly and can guarantee the same latency (including the same standards converter) on both paths.

James Comey was the pre-recorded interview, Mooch was live. Or as-live, anyway, since it looked dark outside but would only have been about 6pm New York time. Mind you it was hard to tell with all the electronic billboards. Netflix got a fair of only-slightly-obscured free advertising!
