Few problems at the start of the News at One, firstly Jane's microphone wasn't working at the start of the headlines, also the Newsroom Live graphic was still on the screens. Now all fixed with Jane apologising.

Does anyone know whether Scotland, Wales or NI broke away to their own continuity and/or music when they encountered the lack of sound and, if so, how and what time did they rejoin the programme?

I doubt it it was only for a few seconds.

Not sure whether this has been seen before, but I came across it on YouTube. It's very well made and well worth watching.

Great that they chose to show an almost full countdown instead of two trailers.

Thanks Bail. How is it that these people get to post up my content on YouTube, but when I uploaded, it was immediately removed by a copyright Content ID match???

There are a lot of methods to get around content ID match. For instance, people can apply insignificant filters on their videos, compress their video quality or tune their audio a bit to get around the copyright identification system. In short, the higher quality your video is, the higher chance the copyright detection system can detect.

5 years today (at 1pm) since BBC News moved into Broadcasting House in Central London.
Hard to believe it's nearly 5 years since they dropped this countdown:

and introduced this one:

Makes me feel old considering it's been that long!
