Tomasz is the best weatherman there is. I can't think of a better weatherman out there. Alex Beresford comes a close second if only Tomasz could do DOI and show off that body of his.

Actually I don't think that was the case here - I remember Joanna Gosling used to do the weekend bulletin on occasion but never the NC itself on weekends. Occasionally when the bulletin ended at half past the BBC one bulletin presenter would stick around to do the half past headlines before a program.

Do the weather forecasters have feeds from the nations readily available? I can imagine an entertaining situation where the forecast fails to get on air on network and Tomasz doesn't realise he's on BBC One Wales stood there like a lemon, or worse.

I doubt that very much, it seems there's more than enough 'self-op' for them to deal with as it is.
He really should have carried on regardless, with multiple platforms etc you can't be sure you're not on somewhere.

My interpretation of the video was that he wasn't supposed to be on air but probably testing audio volumes with BBC1 presentation for the forecast immediately after the news bulletin. Seems like presentation made an error.
