It seemed that the switch to trailers after the Ten this evening didn't go as smoothly as intended on the News Channel.

No doubt Network BBC One went to the regions/nations as intended, but the NC was left with a muted shot of Fiona Bruce, who seemed in rather a hurry to get off to wherever she had planned for a Friday evening . . . Very Happy (I don't blame her)

Wondering why they used a static slide instead of the animated version of that

Apparently she was in just as much of a hurry after yesterday's 6 too

Well, if and when the Six and Ten presenters are required to finish the back half hour on the News channel (like the One) she'll have to stay put. Laughing Wink

I spotted an interview earlier with Shaun Ley presenting, where a looped background came to an end, with just the word Wasim and a video length present.

Rather than gloss over the obvious, he decided to ask the guest why Wasim had stolen the backdrop. There were no answers forthcoming.

Used to be far more entertaining when the N6 Barcos would fail...

Although to be honest, she just got up and walked off, just like anybody leaving their desk.
The alternative would have been an Huw Edwards 'studio crash' scenario of sitting tight and doing nothing, for
possibly an excruciating period of time.

Plus presumbaly the network news presenters probably need to get moving to allow the news Channel presenter a little time to get ready.

Yes they've only got a minute or two to change seats, the quicker the outgoing presenter can get out the better.
