BBC News Channel Presentation - 21/03/16 onwards

The Serif version looks like something the News of the World would have used. Not Good!

This is all we have seen about what is coming for BBC News

Never stop exploring mdtauk. Its nice to see someone with actual ideas. Instead of whinging and moaning about barely perceptible changes no one notices. Keep exploring new things. There is nothing wrong with change. The BBC News look is dusty and certainly needs to be updated. The exploration does remind me of CBC News or The new Guardian online.

Lovely work. IMO, it resembles CBC's 2009 relaunch (and possibly the 2015 regional refresh as opposed to The National's 2017 look. If BBC News were to end up overhauling all of its output, I'd may consider a proper move from the 2008 look. Perhaps making an entire new look across the board (like the 1999 one)

I think the Newsnight one looks very nice indeed. Could definitely see that working on screen.

Not really sure on this look. I'd prefer them to either keep what they've got or go to the same style used for BBC Sport.

Yes good to have ideas, but the ideas look to me of a bygone era. I don't think BBC NEWS needs to look like newspapers as that is certainly one thing that would turn me off the brand. I hope they go down the BBC SPORT route/look.
