It'll be the same bulletin that the rest of the UK sees at 10:00pm, just half an hour earlier. If local news follows the bulletin (it didn't in this case) then the presenter will end with 'and now on BBC One Scotland, it's Reporting Scotland' (or words to that effect) rather than 'the news where you are', they'll make sure abut the content is the same. Indeed last year I seem to remember someone mentioning on here that one of the Scotland-only bulletins trailed something like a tribute programme on BBC One for someone who had passed away, only for the time to be wrong as BBC One Scotland weren't showing it the same time as network!

Did the bulletin done by NC go out to the rest of the UK or was there a back half hour program?

Reporting Scotland did follow the bulletin, but didn't get trailed; there was a proper close with a wide shot of the newsroom.

Ittr and all new Phil gave kudos

The bulletin was produced by the BBC1 news team bulletin rather than the News Channel team from what I could tell, as Jane Hill presented.

It did go out live on the News Channel however. So there were two full BBC1 bulletins on the NC.

It’s by far the best the BBC has to offer if you don’t believe me just check out the BBC Oneness thread.

I'm stunned at the BBC, didn't they check the duty log to see and impliment Mouseboys33 requests. I'm off to the Daily Mail!

Really? I thought they'd done quite a good job of freshening things up last year - Afternoon Live being an example. Would you rather they went back to an N6 setup? Rolling Eyes

The graphics and titles are looking really tired though. Never been a fan of the lower thirds and associated graphics, personally - plain white straps with black Helvetica text is hardly the cutting edge of design.

Good. They need a prayer for some fresh ideas....

Seems like to me, the last complete top to bottom major change in BBC World was from the Flags era to the swirling globes. So far its just been IMO updates (swirling globe on black background to swirling globe on white) and smaller subtle changes, that the average viewer wouldn't even notice. Its all tired and samey looking IMO. Plus every European no-mark pubcaster has red/white swirling globes. Yawn. Keep praying.
