Impact was the last show to come from B on Friday. 1600 onwards was BBC World News from C. Focus on Africa was also from C. Studio B is closed for Christmas for the usual maintenance and floor repaint.

It looks like it needs maintenance, as Aaron's business show went out with half the studio unlit as the usual coloured parts were brown.

I was just having a browse of the screenshots on digitalbitrate.com and here is an aston from the same programme.

I also came across this, someone at the BBC had the bright idea to televise the Brexitcast podcast to use as News Channel filler, and don't they all look thrilled to be there...

*

Isn't that the same table top used when they once televised The Bottom Line with Evan Davis?

I'm sure that font for "News Channel" is that same as what ITV used in the early days of their news channel.

Just noticed that on the screens there, the 2008-2013 BBC NEWS boxed logo seems to be there instead of the 2013 logo despite the fact the current logo has been out for 4+ years

Well here's interesting branding for the "BBC News Channel"...

Making the same mistake, even with the (badly cropped) proper News Channel logo on it. Not to mention '0.30am' and the pointless 'Bank Holiday Weekend'.

It looks like the badly cropped version of the 2008 BBC NEWS logo that was rarely seen. You would still expect them to use the 2013 logo, they've had 4 years to change it.

Well if they can't even use the proper BBC One logo that's been about for 11 years, there's no hope for getting the right BBC News logo.

I watched 5 minutes of bbc news trailers even the placement of the bbc news logo wasn’t quite right, it’s not much better on bbc world news, there’s no consistency to anything at the bbc.

What’s wrong with the logo? The size of the box?

What’s wrong with the logo? The size of the box?

The thing that was wrong with the BBC NEWS logo on that was that:

1. It was the 2008 logo with the word "NEWS" slightly thicker and closer to the bbc logo, not the 2013 version which has existed for 4 years! *facepalm*
2. It was badly cropped, so it didn't even look like the 2008 logo.

It's badly cropped, I wasn't aware there were different versions of the typography, I assumed they just changed the sizes when they moved to NBH

Meet the author also has a strange version of the logo on its titles.

Does the headlines bed on the Six usually have a slight gap as it restarts with each thunderclap, rather than being continuous? Sounds really poor, to be honest.
