Nope - it'll be because Global isn't on BBC World News today. They'll therefore need Studio C, which has forced the Five into Studio A (the green-screen studio)
Global is never on Fridays with studio B normally being used for generic bulletins.

My mistake! In which case I assume Studio B is not being used this afternoon because it's Christmas. Does anyone know if Impact came from B or C today?

That computer generated studio dosent look good at all, but it still makes the occasional appearance.

I've just noticed that the BBC News at Five is coming from a computer-generated green screen studio. It looks really good, but I'm just wondering why. Is BBC News about to have its first proper revamp in almost ten years?

I'm surprised they haven't redone the Studio A generic news background, surely they could do something using photos/footage of Studio C?

It used to be used for the News at 9 before the World Simulcast was added for 9-10pm. I like the Studio A green screen being used for news as well, but I think that the background could be more accurate/less blurred/more realistic (2008 N6-style)

The background needs to be *more* blurred, it looks totally unrealistic being pin sharp with no depth of field.
