Erm, where's the evidence? I hear nothing on that video that sounded like a private conversation. In fact the audio on that is so bad, that it really doesn't support anything other than they had a technical problem.

Well it's certainly not something that that person would have wanted to say on air, so it was obviously something being said in private

Not a technical problem as such, more operator error and an unfortunate one at that

What was said? Whatever it was, wasn't on the video posted, and I didn't see it live as I was working, so I kinda think this is a mountain being made out of a molehill at best, and non-news at worst.

It is on the video, its just the video has very bad sound. Prior to the start of the weather, the presenter was trying to talk to somebody calling into the BBC on the phone, however all she heard was clicking, so they moved onto the weather. However as the weather starts, you can hear somebody say "too much smoking" in relation to the death we assume.

It is in the news.

Nobody seems to have captured a direct recording. The article links to a twitter video.

A BBC spokesman said: "During a live interview the studio had a sound issue with a guest which resulted in off-air audio being inadvertently broadcast and it was quickly rectified."

In other words, mountain out of a molehill, and another sign of how desperate the right wing media is to find anything to pin on the BBC to show them in a negative light. Big ass whoop.

I don't know, i've seen the left wing media make mountains out of molehills too.

Sorry David Icke, but the Daily Mirror covered it as well.

So did the independent.

So did the Huffington post

Think they are pretty left wing outfits, wouldn't you say?

Maybe but I wouldn't have known, or cared, and still don't care, about this story without the poster referencing the story, and as it's daily fail, well who cares. As news stories go, this is barely moving the needle, and is stupid. Technical mishaps happen fairly frequently, big ass whoop. Let's move on.

Not caring is fine, but before you make accusations of conspiracy, it would be best to validate the claim. But as you say, let's move on.
