Notice that Outside Source isn't on this week because of the clock change. Previously they've put OS at 8pm and a news bulletin at 9, but instead we've got news at 9 and World News America at 9:30.

World News or just domestic? And if it's the latter are they in studio A?

Domestic and in studio E until 9.30, then World News America takes over.

I'll just put this here for those still wondering whether the lightboxes in Studio E can change colour:

How many times - they're red when they're turned off so I'm fairly sure they don't change colour!

Looks like we might be getting something special for News 24's 20th birthday.

Wonderful news.
Is it wrong of me to say that I'd like to see a return to that presentation or something of that ilk after many years of beeps and globes? I also loved the laid back style of the whole early operation when it felt like they were at the heart of the newsroom.

I do somewhat miss the more laid back presentation of continuing news. Bulletins should be more direct, and earnest, but the channel should be more relaxed, and give time for more in-depth news stories, and explanatory approaches to complicated issues.

Afternoon Live goes some way of being a bit more laid back with personality. If anything both Sky and the NC have realised that having a personality newscaster in the mid-afternoon slot works well.

That'll be interesting considering the bottom lightbox is usually white.

The added addition of the mouse and keyboard bring them right up to date. Wink
