Can the presenter of the 6 not just stay on an extra 15 mins on the news channel?

I suspect that'll probably happen in the future. It's now happening with BBC News at One with whoever's rota'd in filling the back 20 minutes after Sportsday.

I notice that they also run a short BBC Sport (rather then Sportsday) branded bulletin at 1:30 now from the moment the News at 1 throws to the regions, who then hands back to the News at 1 presenter to carry on and make the whole hour more seamless. I do wonder why the News at Ten doesn't go straight to weather at the end on the NC, rather than play a few trailers first - it would make things much smoother.

Normally its just a coming up trailer (which considering the lack of News programmes fits in well, except on Fridays when Newsday is mentioned as coming up) before launching into Sportsday (No weather in the 22:00 until after the papers).

The eagle-eyed might have spotted a slight tweak to the TOTH camera sequence tonight on the News at Ten and NC. Rather than the studio wideshot camera (5?) panning to the screens for a stood-up top of hour, it runs a circular shot, similar to when the presenter is seated but with the camera pedded as far up as it will go.

Would be nice to see some new newsroom shots used mind you.

Is camera five the one on the extremely short track? The one where if your looking at the desk it's the one on the far right next to the walkway.

May have been a technical issue as its back to normal today.

It's the new World Services languages studio in NBH.

This studio appears in this weeks Click. I only caught the end of the programme so am not sure how much is shown in total.

Or if that tweet is even anything to do with the News Channel for that matter...

Afternoon Live? Sounds like a rip off of Kay Burley’s old show

I hope so it’s always red or red with a hint of purple.
