This really is quite ridiculous now. When will it ever end.
The wrong template played once again after the titles with Chris Rogers left on the catwalk

How are the different versions labelled as then, something like "Click - English" and "Click - Persian"?
Probably Click-I for international and Click-I for Iran. A man called Hennimore was probably in charge of getting the right one onto the right outlet.
Someone pasted the wrong server link into the running order. Everything is kept on the same system with fairly similar naming conventions so I'm amazed it's not happened before!

It won't, it will only get rarer.
Once upon a time this forum would meet such occasions with glee and humour, nowadays it just seems to be a stick to beat people with.
Well I'm glad it happened. I didn't know there was anything more than Click for the UK and a World version but just with different contact/social media details.

I'm pretty certain that all pre-recorded shows are now routinely played out from the same servers that also playout news reports, rather than being delivered separately on tape (as was the case in the early, SD, days at TVC. HD tape is now pretty expensive (DVC Pro HD at 100Mbs is probably the cheapest tape format for HD that passes EBU quality thresholds - HDV won't. The main BBC HD tape format is HD Cam SR - but that's 440Mbs and decks cost £60k plus... Server playout is a lot more cost effective - as the servers are there already and all you need is a bit more storage)
Looks like someone entered the wrong clip name into the running order - and instead of the UK version of Click, the BBC Persian version was entered.
I suspect they only differ by a couple of characters. The original clip name convention was something like NW/PG/CLICK/27 - NetWork ProGramme Title and week number. Trail/Promos were entered as TR or PR I think. May all have changed - this is pre-Jupiter...

I think they call it a mistake!
During the headlines they showed that coming up at 20:30 is the Travel Show. But the headlines strap showed '12:30 TRAVEL SHOW'
Why would it have said 12:30 and not 20:30?

Do you still have this recorded? I would love to know how the person doing the subtitles handled it.
Indeed, I am currently uploading a clip to youtube of the error, which will be available to view shortly (assuming that youtube speed up their processing hamsters that is....)

Unfortunately I don't - but I would suspect that the subtitles would have been pre-coded and played out, rather than manually typed (or however they do it on live tv).
