When Nick Higham records his Meet the Author's, aren't they recorded in a set within the business unit in NBH?

Would it not be possible to present the business updates from there from time to time? I.e. much like a sport handover, they could even use the newsroom trundle cam to pan up to the newsroom higher floors.

Or maybe they could use that fancy hexacopter to fly up the atrium and smash through the glass on the appropriate floor?

I was merely making conversation, there's no need to try and score points with a stupid reply. A reasoned response as to why it wouldn't work would have surficed.

Considering certain shots have (at least until now) been recorded, such as TOTH/ BOTH shots for the News at Five and Nine, would it actually be too difficult to achieve some more unusual pre-recorded shots using something like that? One programme - I think one of the foreign language services, or maybe Click - used some type of remote control helicopter/hexacopter to get some interesting shots just before most staff moved in.

As for the business bulletins - they appear much more like a hybrid model than a return to the old format. The one during the 10am hour, for example, was almost exclusively Ben Thompson 'reporting' on a few stories in front of the three plasmas. The only 'guest' was replaying Michael O'Leary talking about the state of his airline.

After the move to NBH, didn't they make a News Channel guest booker redundant? I wonder if that person had previously spent time booking business guests?

Ooh, they seem to be trying to embrace the fact that no-one actually calls the channel BBC News - doesn't look good.

Probably just differentiating between the bulletins and the rolling news 😃

the 5 hour has 5 on the bbc news globe as well as on the down the line interview plasmas. They also did the trundle cam from right behind the stairs and not being able to see Studio E

Edit: Sorry, I didnt see your previous comment as I was typing!

Is it just me or does the last part of the titles look more fluid and slightly sped up? They do look slightly better that way IMO.

Looked like a live trundle-cam shot at 5, rather than the previous pre-recorded ones.
