BBC news channel general discussion

I thought it was about time we got a new news channel thread. Since a lot of the chat about it has moved onto the world news thread because there’s no where else for it to go.

The previous thread was closed for a reason. I'm sure if BBC News constantly was full of groundbreaking discussion it could be worth having one, but it isn't. Significant events can be discussed in new and seperate threads.

It was closed because of people assuming things about presenters personal lives which is just simply odd. But we know people don’t like others going off topic on threads and the majority of recent discussion on the bbc world news thread was about the news channel, granted it was very loosely related but I think it would’ve been better if there was a specific news channel topic for it.

You’ve literally created a topic with nothing to say. Doing that has always been frowned upon, regardless of the recent changes.
