Full details here. Have a look at the PDF newsletters for the latest info. I very much doubt if they'll be in for 2008 though as the project has slipped quite a bit.
'The news hub…
At the heart of the building is the newsroom, a column-free space, surrounded by technical areas and day-lit by the eight-storey high atria above. About twice the size of the largest floor available in Television Centre, this will be the largest live newsroom in the world.
The vaulted forms of the transfer structure articulate the space. As the backdrop to television studios, the newsroom will form part of the iconic public identity of the BBC.'
I'm sure that the BBC are very interested in what Sky have come up with and will be trying to outdo them when they move to BH. However it says the studios will overlook the newsroom rather than being part of them.
Much as I like the News 24 studio, it doesn't have nearly enough depth. You get the impression that it's being filmed in a long thin corridor running from the summary pod, past the central desk to the left hand screen. The cameras can't move back to give a nice wide shot. Looking at it now I wish they'd gone further back into the newsroom behind them for the set.

It looks like what it is - a long, relatively thin space, with three set areas in a line. There isn't that much space on the floor that News 24 is on, as it is a mezzanine, so you can't make the N24 sets much deeper than they already are - and you have to retain some space for the actual journalists working on the channel.
Of course with the proposed BBC cuts you won't need as much space...
