Hi,
Does anyone know when/if the BBC Newsroom will be changing soon. The graphics are dated and the titles tacky. The newsroom is very distracting. i have complained several times now but nothing has happened.

When will pictorial insets reappear at the top of each headline, the text 'slugs' are awful!!!

Also, does anyone know when the new BBC Weather graphics package will start being used?

What's this BBC weathert, then?

Is it a toffee, like those ones your Grandad gave you, but in this case, given to you by Auntie?

If "210790" is your date of birth, then you are ... just let me calculate ... 14 years old. Quite young for a TV Forum poster, isn't it?

I don't know, David, he seems ANCIENT compared to the rest of the recent batch!

Not really - we welcome any age to participate in the forums. On the whole, the more varied the membership is, the more varied the discussion will be.

Please loosen up with regards to new members. I think an awful lot of you are forgetting that you were newbies once. I thought the behaviour on TV Forum was pretty much the norm for an internet discussion board, but I've recently joined some other ones on non-TV pres topics, and I was very surprised to see how welcoming the members are. Perhaps we should all take a leaf out of their book?

Or perhaps you could go off and moderate(?) one of those.

No offense.

I think the mods are quite right to try and foster a courteous and considerate environment for this forum.

If you don't agree, it's not for you to question the mods. Perhaps YOU should move forums.

I think that long standing folk like Nick, Mark and myself have proven our worth to comment on any member new or old due to years of experience of the sort of weirdos who join this place.

We fought the Serbians in the chatroom and we'll fight the morons who join here.

In defense of my comment above, I simply felt it would be better to crack down on the spurious postings of half-term pupils rather than to "welcome" them, as advised by itsrobot.

I have now received my first warning from the moderators.
