I am just wondering how they create and design them.

and if nothing else it shows how Simon Jago only has one set idea in total. Even the desks are the same on some of those. Rolling Eyes

Yes, the same desk design is rather a signature of their's. The thick rim around the edge of the desk, in particular. I do really like the backdrops that Lightwell have designed. Looking through the Jago Design website, I really do like the World News America studio. The backdrop again (probably by Lightwell) is impressive.

Its just a shame they are static light boxes in WN America and don't have any sort of real time activity on them, it does make them look a little fake.

I always see the little screens in the background on the left and see in one of the four 'TV panels' a woman overlayed on a red background never moving! Wink

These backgrounds aren't meant to look like frosted windows with a real scene behind them, including the ones in N6. They're there to add interest and depth to the backgrounds of shots, which isn't possible with a plain wall.

That would be because it's the ITV studio design

It looks like one of the BBC News studios to me, but with blue graphics...

It is interesting at how they were trialling a square studio, is it possible to use the current curved green screen to make it appear square? A part of me does like the desk, but think I prefer the other image with the different sizes of glass in front of the desk

I think it would look good like this, it would have added a bit more depth, surely? with the different level cubes...
