How does it work when a BBC London presenter/reporter does it. Do they have to go across to Television Centre or does Marlyebone have two studios they can use?


London use their big screen in their main studio. Key up a solid green colour and bob's your uncle you have a CSO. If you listen carefully you can hear the office noise in the background! Very Happy


Thanks for that. How does it work if a London reporter/presenter is doing the national segment. Are they in Marylbone on the other side of the screen, or are they in Television Centre?

Yep, he's presenting while Ellie's on maternity leave.


Yep - caused a bit of a ripple as he's one of the few (only?) presenters who doesn't have a formal journalism background, to have presented the show in its time.

Hmm seems like this 8pm bulletin is a training ground for future starlets. Perhaps Celina might go on to be the next Felicity Barr. She's certainly qualified enough, and presenting other news stories aside from sports results suits her. I think she's underused, and she's definately cute enough for the challenge. Wink

I only caught the end so don't know if the opted out at the wrong time, but North West also failed to opt back in in time, just got the end of the anouncement for sky cops.
