Good to see a bit of variety...and News 24 presenters getting a bit more airtime on a national bulletin. I swear it was Luisa Baldini last night. Maybe I'm wrong....

Seems to be a case of "anyone but Huw".

I wonder if this means random presenters between now and whenever Kate returns, assuming Ellie is now on maternity leave.

Yea, she is....I think I caught Jake presenting Newsround.... Confused:
I think it's likely we'll get random presenters/reporters doing the bulletin until the summer.

It would be good to see some different people getting national exposure but I expect that Riz Lateef will do it when she returns to BBC London News. (She seems to be off this week)

Yep - caused a bit of a ripple as he's one of the few (only?) presenters who doesn't have a formal journalism background, to have presented the show in its time.

How does it work when a BBC London presenter/reporter does it. Do they have to go across to Television Centre or does Marlyebone have two studios they can use?

It isn't exactly a studio is it, though? More of a CSO.

London use their big screen in their main studio. Key up a solid green colour and bob's your uncle you have a CSO. If you listen carefully you can hear the office noise in the background! Very Happy

We had Luisa again. It's nice to see some fresh faces on BBC one
