Yes, what a great idea.

That way, people who don't read the forum obsessively will miss this interesting information but those who are obsessive compulsive and read every post in the BBC News thread would have seen it.

One-nil to usability.

YOU are hardly one to lecture others on correct placement of topics.

I think the whole going back to London thing is preposterous and have since day one. The regions doing their own recap not only looks more professional but allows them to recap important local stories along with the national / global stuff

Oh contrare... I think the going back to London let the programme end properly, instead of the 3 second goodbyes at the end of the actual bulletin.

If the regions keep the recap at 7, the Six should be allowed to end properly at 6.30, closing titles and all.

As has Points West.

Not sure exactly what you mean there.

Are you saying Points West have been doing their OWN 18:55 international and national summary THIS week; or that they've been throwing back to London for it?

Spotlight, which I watch to avoid the "quiz-bimbo" on Points West, have been throwing back to London since Monday 6th.

I personally that either the Six should end at half-past with closing titles and another junction into the regional news or that it should be as it was in 1999 onwards. I didn't like what they did in this trial, when they kept the Six going into the regional programmes and not coming back at 6.55 for the headlines.

Ah Nick. Sorry to have been unclear old bean.

I mean that Points West has been doing its own national/international heads.

I remembered to flip back to 101 tonight when Spotlight finished and Points West seem to have joined the rest in going back to London for the 6.55 heads from today.
