When Brekfast comes from the N24 set, is is produced by the Breakfast team or a News 24 team?

Breakfast is produced 7 days a week by the Breakfast team.

What is it with the Breakfast team? Do they employ a set of monkeys to do the graphics on weekends? It's not as if they have lack of experience in using TOG as they're in there for 6 hours each weekend and they still managed to cock up even the smallest graphic.

Fiona Bruce with the late news from N24, but with the national news dog/story caption.

EDIT - is this just on Scotland, because of Hogmanay Live?

Right now theres a special edition of BBC News for viewers in Scotland (different schedule tonight) broadcasting on BBC One Scotland and BBC News 24. Its coming from the N24 studio with Fiona Bruce and has all the usual BBC One graphics.

The main news as part of the New Year's Eve show will also come from News 24.

I wonder if it was the N6 gallery that was driving the special Scotland bulletin, due to the use of the National News titles, graphics and captions, although I did spot some subtle differences, so perhaps it was the N8 gallery that was in charge.

I'd say it looked like N8 too, those little differences here and there mostly with alignment make it look like thats the case. Quite well done I would say though.

Scottish late news came from News 24's gallery and studio (though with BBC One style insets and astons), as did the main BBC One News that was part of the BBC One England, Wales and Northern Ireland New Years programme.

This was, I believe, because the BBC One New Years programme (which consisted of at least 3 OBs) was co-ordinated by BBC News from the BBC One News gallery, and it therefore made sense to present the news from a different studio/gallery.
