BBC News 24 - Dificulties

This thread is exclusively for discussing problems BBC News 24 have been having lately.

Todays I have seen and heard:

Loss of sounds on reports
Loss of contact with reporters
Wrong music being played:
Headline music over sting
Old music over sting
Presenters cocking up
And more!

All happening frequently.

This is 24 hour rolling news. What else do you expect?

All of the issues you list are attributable to a number of different technical areas, and are separate issues from each other that occur independantly.

What is your purpose of creating a new thread?

A large amount of snags are bound to happen on rolling-news. However, i have noticed BBC N24 and Breakfast not being as slick as usual

I know but they are not normally this bad, it seams that oday ALL reports failed to work or has been cut off so they kept sowing recorded reports which don't look good as they do when they were live.

Can a mod 'Exclusively close this thread'. Should be discussed in the News 24 thread.

I don't see much point in this thread - technical difficulties makes it fun, for me, lol. It's Live TV - these technical people are working very hard to make sure things go on air at the right time but sometimes mistakes happen.
