Tim Willcox Wink

He did 11 - 2 with Jane and The World Today.
I do love TVF sarcasm Very Happy

Has it dawned on anyone that perhaps it's his contract that makes him do so many, and not that he choose to?

Isn't he a freelancer? Perhaps he has a large round the world trip planned and needs to fund it. Perhaps he has a heroin addiction to feed.
Maybe he's raising funds for his future US Presidential election he plans to win Wink

Tim was also on BBC World from 9-12 today. Laughing Laughing Laughing
They should clone him so we can have him on News 24 and World at the same time. Laughing

It's just bizarre really. It's not as if he's very popular, or good at his job.

Offensive and unfair. Few people, including many members of this forum, have any idea what it's like to do live TV.

I would say he's adaquete, so that's a bit harsh.

But I'm totally sick of seeing his face everytime I put News 24 on.

Indeed - How can you say he's NOT popular?? To what are you refering?? He's popular with us, and unquestionnably very good at his job. The reason he attracts so much discussion on here is cos he's actually on screen quite a lot. But to say he's unpopular and not good is unjustified.

I'm probably in the minority, but I think he is alright. He does get a bit repetitive sometimes when he is on constantly, but I find him to be a decent presenter when he is on his own.

He's OK (but not outstanding - compare him to someone like Adrian Finighan, for example, who can turn his hand to anything, have a laugh and chemistry with co-presenters and come across as a human being onscreen) but the problem is he's on so bloody much. It got to a point where I'd get sick of seeing him on News 24 so I'd switch BBC World on for a bit to see someone different. Now, he's doing that channel as well so there's no escape from him. Sometimes he's done 3 shifts a day - N24, World and back to N24 again. It's just overkill.

Oh for goodness sake all of you, he'd probably snub you if he met any of you, come off it.

He's a decent feller. Had a chat to him on the phone once about career options, was a good convo.
