BBC News 24: 'Day-to-day' Presenter & Rota discussion

Well it's hardly ideal is it.

Well, the BBC has their reasons, and it's their decision. However, I just find it messy to move the News Channel out for half an hour.

Part of the rebrand was to give BBC News a uniform, similar look. Moving into a totally different studio isn't helping.

Who knows maybe BBC World News will have visually a studio which is closer to BBC News, and your average viewer wouldn't notice.

I imagine, BBC World's N8 will be similar to the Washington studio, for consistency. And remember, News 24's overnights will be coming from BBC World from now on, unlike at present where BBC World was coming from News 24 at night.

Umm aren't you guys discussing this in the wrong thread?!

I hope it looks like N6, obviously a newswall wouldn't be possible, but a rectangular shape, two projection screens at each side, with glass looking onto the newsroom, with the odd frosted rings, like the N6 background.

It will be interesting to see what it looks like, and when it actually launches. Or, could it be the case that there's just the odd tweak to the current News 24 set?
