Julian Worricker back a 7pm tonight. Horray.

Good to see him back. He's one of the best news presenters the BBC has ever had. From the original Five Aside on Radio 5 in 1990, through til just before he left, when he could be caught on Five Live, News 24 and occasionally the World Service. One of the best talents that the BBC has ever had.

Very pleased to see Julian back - he doesn't seem to have been away travelling for long, but we should get a break from Tim for a bit at least.

He finished in September for a 6 month break, so that would have finished last month.

Charlie Stayt presenting with Joanna Gosling. Haven't seen Charlie on News 24 before, myself.

I have seen Charlie occasionally on the channel. I think he has on one or two occasions stayed on after Breakfast for a ****.

He's done a few 7-10 slots as well and IIRC presented with Louise for a week between 2 and 5.

He's very good. Of course the best news channel taught him everything he needed to know about rolling news! Laughing Razz

He is good, yes although I think he's a little too stiff for Breakfast and should go on News 24 more and find somebody to replace him on Breakfast.

Although I didn't know he'd been "taught" at News 24...
