Guess who did a six-hour shift on BBC World this evening?
Yep, you got it.....Tim Willcox! He's gone from doing marathon shifts on News 24 to doing marathon shifts on both News 24 and World on the same day! I'm rapidly getting fed up of him.

She is relief presenter for the Nationals, News 24 and also presents Newsnight - so she has a reasonably high profile role without being attached to any one slot.
She seems to work very well with Jon Sopel - usually a good laugh when those two are on, but when she is with Ben Brown or Tim Workaholicocks she is quite catty with them
But overall she is stronger on her own.

She came back 2 weeks ago tomorrow and IIRC went on maternity leave the last Thursday before Christmas (20th/21st??) so about 3 months she was off. But very short in comparison to Sian's or Rachel Schofield (who I think was off for a year.)

good grief!! i've just seen Joanna Gosling - she's taken an exceptionally short amount of maternity leave.
i can't recall when she actually went but it was only a few weeks ago - maybe 6.
is this a case of freelancing and not getting maternity benefits so having to come back early??
