I just read in the paper that Stephanie Flanders is 6 months pregnant, so I imagine she'll be going on maternity leave fairly soon, after a very short time in the role. Does anyone know who will cover? Huw Pym I'd guess.

Robert Peston is a possibility after his huge scoop about Northern Rock last year.

Yes, she looks a lot younger than she did before she went on maternity leave. I remember when I first saw Joanna - she used to present the overnight bulletins on News 24/World in 2000/2001. IIRC, she had short cropped hair back then. Compared to then, she now looks about 10 years younger!

Joanna looks fabulous darling. Doesn't seem that long ago since she went on maternity leave. Did she take shorter time off than normal? Pity have to watch her with James though - he's a damn reporter, not a presenter!

James Landale on tonight, as previously noted, it'll be interesting to see how he handles presentation rather than reporting.

A few unusual presenters around lately - glad to see they haven't let Gavin Hewitt present again though.

Seems fine to me.

Why the hell is Ben Brown still not on his proper slot? I cannot believe he does so much public speaking or something every night for 4 months! Move him back to evenings or move him back to reporting - N24 is a mess at the mo for presenters!

Frankly I just can't stand the man as a presenter - very good reporter and not as bad on the nationals, but I really can't stand him on N24.

My point was more a question - why is he still on afternoons or mornings or not at all while random reporters and workaholics Tim fill in his usual position?
