Louise Minchin is starting a new BBC1 daytime programme on 21st April called 'Missing Live'. Shes presenting it with Rav Wilding from Crimewatch and runs for 4 weeks. So we probably won't be seeing too much of her on BBC News for a while.
I'd imagine either Tim Willcox or Maxine Mawhinney did the morning BBC1 updates.

Interesting to see Jane do the 11-1 slot on N24 followed directly by the One O'clock News - pretty rare! Did Louise have to leave or something, or was it always planned? And if Jane was on the 11-2 slot, who did the morning BBC 1 updates?

It's not the first time he's done it. IIRC, he did a stint towards the end of 2007, too.

What is Stuart Flinders doing on N24? I checked on the North West Tonight website, and he's still on there. I can't understand why they've had to pull him in to do it.
