With regards to Sophie Long, who I do quite like, was supposedly buzzing off back to SW soon wasn't she, yet now it seems she's on non-stop. Covering for Anita McVeigh, then on many other shifts throughout the week - Tim Wilcox's wife???
And Sue Thearle is very good! I suspect it was more accidental that Sue turned up as a relief on N24 after her first morning seemed like she was brought in at last minute, yet now she's on loads

Can I make a suggestion to Asa and the moderating team... (and preferably without everyone else taking my head off...)
It's been quite a long time now since TVF split the N24 thread into two separate ones, and I think it's been successful. The N24 presentation thread is almost always about presentation, and the presenter one is almost always about presenters. So why not extend it slightly for the main BBC News thread, therefore eliminating the

that currently goes on, making TVF that bit friendlier (i.e. without the current anger from some members of TVF towards others when this issue appears). Personally I do like being 'in the know' about presenters, but too get cross when (for example) the BBC Re-branding thread starts to talk about presenters.
I propose keeping the threads as they are, only making this one 'BBC News: Presenters & Rotas' and 'BBC News - in general' respectively. I'd like to know what others think
(and I'm not trying to cause trouble, just remedy an issue)

re Emily Solo (31-Mar-2008 Afternoon)
I must assume that whoever was to partner her went sick or was otherwise unavailable at short notice. She was joined at 3.30 by Rachael Schofield who has continued into the evening and is partnering Tim Workaholicocks tonight. .

I'm glad that the thread split has gone down well. I felt a bit guilty at first for starting the ball rolling on that one but I'm glad we split it now, as it has improved the quality of discussion immensely. I definitely agree with extending it further to include BBC One as well.
