BBC News 24: 'Day-to-day' Presenter & Rota discussion

He seems to stay overnight at TVC virtually every Friday night nowadays. As well as doing what was, in effect, 3 shifts yesterday, including the '5', he also presented Film24 for the second week running - quite a big workload and a lot of background work/research to do.
And, of course, presenters are in the building for 2 hours before the start of their shift - so by the time he leaves today, he'll have spent the best part of 24 hours in TVC without going home.
Lots of exposure for him though - he's got the midday BBC1 bulletin to do yet too...

I can only think that Ben Brown can't do evenings at the moment. Maybe he does public speaking or something and the BBC has allowed him to swap shifts for a little while.

Adam Parsons making a weekday appearance with Rachel Schofield. I'm still uncertain about him, he seems a bit akward at times. Hopefully he'll get better, but not a patch on Tony Campion who unfortunately seems to have dissapeared.

Surprised that James Dagwell has got the overnight slot tonight.

Why? It was mentioned he would present more on News 24.

Does anyone know who the business presenter on this afternoon is? I've seen her a few times, but haven't caught her name yet.

Babita Sharma (hope I've spelt it correctly!) - she seems to be a regular on a Friday now.
