I can't believe this. Tim Wilcox was on air yesterday with Jane, then he returned in the evening and now I wake up and see him on the screen again. He's got the same tie too.
Does he sleep in the newsroom Confused: Laughing Laughing Laughing Surprised

Will there be a big change with this rebranding in terms of who presents when?

I do hope Jane gets a prominent role. And pray God Kate does nnot keep the one. Although I would not be surprised if either Kate or Sophie gets the six and George moves to the Ten with Huw.

I think Kate has a VERY secure position at BBC News, by the sounds of an article that will appear in tomorrow's Media section of the Independent. The title is something like ''Why Kate turned down a million pound salary so she could remain at the BBC'' complete with smarmy/gloaty picture of the woman herself.

Tim and Jane are a joke, there needs to be some serious purging at the BBC!
No you are a joke.

Agreed. It tends to be those who know the least about the demands of live media who are the most critical!

Yes, being a journalist working with Sky, I have abolutely no clue at all... Rolling Eyes

Can i ask, What do you report on?

Nothing 'on-screen' but I work closely with other journalists in editing/researching.

I haven't seen much of her but from what I can see here most people don't like her. I don't like the part of the countdown when the show her walking. To me it looks like she's in every countdown. Why is BBC trying to make her a star of the channel. Confused: Confused: Confused:
I prefer Joanna Gossling, they should use her more. She looks like a nice person.

And yet you seemingly have no idea about the need to be presentable on air. You make sweeping personal digs about professionals who've achieved more than you ever have, as if you're the editor of Popbitch or something!

No worse than when Kaplinsky was in every countdown at around 10 seconds, a bit of variety is nice, and Kate is not in every countdown walking Wink

I don't like either of them. It looks like they want Kate to be their new Natasha.

Anyone would think you were jealous of anyone that works for the BBC?

I don't see any problem with Kate, shes fantastic on the 1, she's really down to earth and friendly on screen.
I've even changed with Natasha aswell, I admit if she was still at the BBC now presenting the 6, I wouldn't like her. I've said time and time again she only got the 6 after her success on Strictly, and because of her looks. But now shes at five, she suits it more, and on the blogs she seems more down to earth than the pouty woman she was at the BBC.

Really naff handling of tonights late news for BBC One on News 24 just then. Just went straight into it without warning. You could also still see Anita sat there on the opening shot even though she is not part of the bulletin. Is this what the future of the BBC is going to be like? Cut & Shove bodge it jobs?
