He's smarmy though, and extremely self-sufficient in that he obviously doesn't ''do'' a co-presenter. Look at the Sadam special on News 24, they had the more qualified person in the studio to analyse the situation, but Tim kept butting in and adding his own commentary and would hardly let the guy speak.

Just that hes a very distant relative of Rowan Atkinson. Im not sure if there is any truth in this.

I think that a presenter revamp is in order on News 24, but not to the extent of the Wikipedia extract said. I think they need to make their 'senior' presenters (like Chris Eaklin, Jane Hill and Matthew Amwroliwala - possibly Simon McCoy) much better roles. I just think that Simon and Kate are actually a bit of a shock to wake up to, and GET BACK CARRIE GRACIE - shes much better than Kate. What about putting Carrie and Chris on the evening slot, with Joanna becoming a weekend/ relief presenter and Ben back to being a senior reporter (he is much better suited there than on a fast-moving news channel)...

Prime time on news channels is 9am-5pm - it took News 24 a while to realise this, but as soon as they did they got NCOTY!

Too much breaking news to deal this evening:
- Video footage of 15 British Soilders
- Police given extra time to question 3 7/7 plotters.
- Vote over where super casio license grant.

So Tim and his assistant spoke at the same time when it hit 7pm as they had to miss out the weather, they said it's time for the headlines and they were blank for around 5/6 seconds then both spoke then at the end of the headlines the N24 at 7 sting didn't appear to play

Anyone else getting fed up with Chris Eakin on the Ten news hour and beyond? He seems to spend more time explaining the complex running order of the 'programme' than actually delivering the news!

"In a moment we'll be having our first look at the papers, most of the front pages have just arrived by the studio, and then later we'll be discussing these with our newspaper reviewer - that's a little bit later, before that we'll have all the latest business news (some of which features on many of the front pages, but we'll be looking at that in a little while), but next we have a round up of the day's sport - all that after the latest headlines..."

"...right, after the sport soinso's here with the business and of course a full paper review...."
