Put your plasma "on snow" for an hour; that should fix it.

oh really? so if they were to unplug the freeview box from it it should work? I'll let them know.

Mind it is about 3 years worth of non-stop screenburn - still OK?

They're morons of course so they won't listen.

You never know until you try! Try it on the analog tuner. If it doesn't have one, you have no chance. But, why are you complaining? Do you watch the TV in reception that much, with your laptop on your knee hammering in your comments? Then it doesn't matter that much.

I'd be really grateful if someone could post some caps of things like Breaking News and the titles.

Cheers.

I get annoyed easily - as people here will inform you - I swept the four story staircase in my halls last night because the dust was annoying me.

Well done. And I'm not blind; your comments are everywhere.

I must take a photo of the plasma in reception here at Dundee Uni. The old tower is burnt so badly into the screen. Plus there is now no clock at all because of the screen being setup incorrectly.

Put your plasma "on snow" for an hour; that should fix it.

Doesn't always work, especially after this amount of time. It's an inherent problem with plasmas...

It's better than trying nothing anyway...

I can feel a long post in the waters...

Clapham, if I may take the reins for technical congratulations...

Bob W & Paul E for their incredible work, Adam B & Eddie C for flawless technical consultancy, Sam T for his overview, Bob S for his BT3 shenanigans, Sarah C for her endless 'blatting' and help, 'Trond Speaking' for being a Norwegian voice of calm and, of course, a couple of bleary-eyed project amateurs...

Glad you (mostly) like them and thanks for your feedback.

Yes and I'm sorry for shouting at you in the old threat mate. Didn't know it was you. Sorry.

Nice to see they've got the BBC NEWS logo correct this time, unlike with the most recent 1, 6 and 10 titles where the NEWS bit was too big.

Incidentally, a little thanks to the team responsible for all their input to this forum over the past few weeks. The various teases and clues have been rather fun, even despite the endless 'when is it happening?' comments from our more 'special' members.

Glad to say it's been worth the wait.

Well done to all involved, the only niggle for me is that I can only see the bottom half of the live bug as previously mentioned. It's a shame breaking news isn't flagged as well as before but the music is excellent and probably enough.

Anyone reminded of this era at all?
