Umm that's the whole point of this strike... to get them to back down from making compulsory redundancies when several other people have been turned down for voluntary redundancy.

I just thought... BBC News ALWAYS seems to cock-up something at least twice a day... would we really notice if the technicans went on strike?

Anyway I like it when there's a strike. On the last one we had a really long countdown and a video of the ribbons and globe animation which used to appear on the screens in the N24 studio. We would never have got them without the strikers!

I'm sorry - I'm missing something here. I've searched the previous posts and can't see what strike you're talking about - when is it and what is it to do with?

The strike is over more job cuts - i'm not too sure when the strike is though, I think it's within the next few weeks...
