Umm that's the whole point of this strike... to get them to back down from making compulsory redundancies when several other people have been turned down for voluntary redundancy.

Yes. On the 2005 strike there were quite a few problems. See www.thetvroomplus.com - there's videos there!

Anyway I like it when there's a strike. On the last one we had a really long countdown and a video of the ribbons and globe animation which used to appear on the screens in the N24 studio. We would never have got them without the strikers! Laughing

The strike is over more job cuts - i'm not too sure when the strike is though, I think it's within the next few weeks...
