yes that is a problem. They are still working on the tweaks, so i'm sure it will change soon.

do you know this for a fact?

Those maps won't be around for much longer anyway . Wink

Yeah, I'd heard that the new Vizrt graphics does cool stuff with maps. Why wasn't it launched with the new look?

Im sure BBC World's maps have changed since relaunch cos we don't the the bit at the left anymore, and when it zooms into a country and it gets in real close, clouds pass by.

It would be good to have some new maps, the existing package has been used for some time now.

WMTW is still in Suffolk this morning - looking frozen still, but doing a great job.

Sorry if this has been asked before or maybe I'm being thick (no change there then!) but...

What exactly is the line at the bottom of the screen? Is it some kind of overscan line? I just tend to find it rather distracting (much moreso than DOG's which bother me not). Is it my TV's or is it the broadcast itself?

My TV has that annoying line too - I notice it most during the 1,6,and 10 simulcasts

Just a thought - could they leave the N24 and time red box on dusing the weather and ad's, then take it off just for the titles?

I have the line too - surely it's not that difficult to take graphics right to the bottom!

Talking of the weather - got used to the maps now, but still hate the astons used on them!

BBC World don't have that funny line at the bottom.
