Well he's on BBC One now and it's fine.
Yeah, just interesting to note that theres been a few tweeks to the weather graphics over the last few weeks.
Festive animation (started off with an endcap and now used throughout the forcast)

Don't know if it is fixed now, but just before 5pm Danny Corbett was having trouble with his clicker. He had to go through the entire forecast without any visual aides and a frozen backdrop.
6pm forecast should be interesting....

These new weather graphics highlighting the warnings etc remind me of the ones used when News 24 launched (when it had its own weather presentation). What goes around comes around as they say!

I saw him during the 0800-0900 hour (doesn't Breakfast just seem to recycle material every hour nowadays? I remember a time when each hour had new stuff...) and he was flirting with Susanna! He even managed to persuade her to give him a hug...lucky sod
Weekend Breakfast really does seem to recycle one hour over and over. I've noticed they even promote the last item of the previous hour at the top of the next hour. It's all disappointing - and slightly annoying because Weekend 24 at least did have differing content, now they could just replay out the 8AM hour at 9AM and we wouldn't see any different. In fact close the studio for that hour and reduce staffing costs.

Anyone see Basil Brush on Breakfast/ News 24 today. Was on between just before 9 and 10. He was promoting Swap Shop for the new year and even got the presenter to swap ties!

I never thought I would see the day when a supposedly respectable news programme interviews a puppet squirrel.
He's a fox and also a bbc star of long standing and with a bbc show to plug it's no surprise to see him on breakfast. Some might say breakfast has been presented by puppets ( possibly muppets ) in the not so distant past.
Suzanna handled it well considering there was an operator under her desk

Weekend 24 used to be great. Sadly, I didn't see the flags era version; I only found News 24 in c.1999/2000. At that point, it was presented by Darren Jordon and Sian Williams and at 0900, Maxine Mawhinney started her shift. The output back then had much more originality than it does now. It may have been 'stuffy' (I don't subscribe to this view) but it did the job it was supposed to.
At that time, there were other great weekend presenters, including Peter Coe, Philip Hayton and Brenda Paterson. Chris Lowe and Gwenan Edwards/Anna Jones always did the evening shift. Good times......
